How to use this blog
You may not be web savvy. You may not be used to all the little features stuck into this site. So here’s how to use it.
On the left side are the posts. These are usually my gabblings about writing or what I’ve seen on telly or me using my website to hit people over the head. Once a week, there’s a story, usually written by me, but potentially there may be guest authors. We’ll see.
You can comment on any post you want to. If it’s the first comment, I’ll have to moderate it before it goes up so depending on what I’m doing that particular day, it may take a while for it to go up, but don’t let that dissuade you. I’m interested to know what people think of what I’m saying and whether they disagree. I’m definitely interested to know what you think of the stories.
On the right hand side are the widgets. These allow you to view the archives and choose what you want to view. Down at the bottom are the categories. So if you only want to read the stories, click on that category and only the story posts will be displayed. If you only want to read the fan fiction, click on that category and you can read my hack work using other people’s creations.
The tags should give you an idea of the subjects covered in the blog. The bigger the writing, the more often that subject has been covered. I don’t treat the tags with all the seriousness a librarian should.
There are also links here to other blogs. Mostly they’re the standard ones WordPress suggest. I plan to add more.
